Association Services of Florida Participated in the First Annual Share and Learn Event
Share and Learn event was held by the Broward Coalition
Miramar, FL November 13, 2009 - Association Services of Florida participated in the first annual Share and Learn event held by the Broward Coalition. Board members were able to attend this event for free, although they are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for The Cooperative Feeding Program. This charity has a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator website. They could hardly believe the overflow of donations received from the event!
Members of community associations filled the room for the event. More than 225 board members from condominium and homeowner's associations attended. They were able to hear from various panels of experts during the day as well as visit with the many participating sponsors.
Association Services of Florida was very proud to participate in this first annual Share and Learn event. We are most proud to be a member of the Broward Coalition which provides education and information to more than 200 community associations located throughout Broward county. Association Services of Florida was represented at the event by CEO George Skrbin, Wendy Murray, Hedy Maurer and Joanne Willoughby. We are honored to be a sponsor of such a great organization and look forward to future events.
