Association Services of Florida’s Curtis Shamis Extends His Expertise
Shamis earns the Association Management Specialist (AMS) Accreditation
Miramar, FL March 3, 2010 - Association Services of Florida is excited to announce that Curtis Shamis, portfolio manager, has recently acquired his Association Management Specialist (AMS) accreditation through Community Associations Institute (CAI).
“Continuing my education is important to serving the communities I manage,” said Shamis. “I enjoy being a knowledgeable resource when community board members need guidance, and I am already working on my next designation.”
To obtain the AMS accreditation through CAI, a community manager must successfully pass two courses; obtain and maintain the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) certification; complete two or more years of community association management experience and have a community association leader verify service experience.
